If you have ever found yourself contemplating whether or not to join one of Claire’s classes, let me assure you—the answer is a resounding “should!” I personally attended my first class with Claire in December 2025, and the experience was so fantastic that I immediately committed to a full year’s bundle of classes rather than just a single session.
Beyond the classes, I also became a member of her ArtJournalLovers Page. Claire’s teaching style radiates warmth and positivity, making every lesson engaging, intuitive and highly educational. She is incredibly generous with her expertise, always sharing a wealth of knowledge, tips and tricks designed to support you on your creative journey.
Another wonderful aspect of Claire’s classes is the inclusion of exclusive stencils and various crafty items. These are included in the cost of the class, and are designed by Claire herself—which is simply fantastic!
If I could, I would give Claire six stars out of five. I am absolutely delighted to have discovered her classes and to be part of this creative community.

Art Journal Love with Claire Stead is my absolute favourite mixed media art journaling channel to watch. I often end up buying supplies I didn’t know I needed until I see Claire use them :). I subscribe to 3 different artists and Claire's Art Journal Lovers is by far the best value for money! Claire is insanely talented and has a friendly, cheerful teaching manner. She is always full of ideas and colour inspiring me to go back to my art table and create.
I was also lucky enough to do an in person workshop and it was a fabulous day. Claire has built a community of artists that are warm and supportive to every newcomer.

I have only been an Art Journal Lover for a short time. I find Claire to be very inspiring she likes to get her members involved and encourages us every step of the way. The feed back from other members watching are also very encouraging. I absolutely love all her ideas do I do them, yes, do I finished them, most of them evidently. I have attended several in-person workshops now with Claire. The day always goes so fast; beautiful projects, lots of tips and techniques and Claire attracts such amazing people around her that the other attendees are just lovely! Claire is so generous with her knowledge and always prepares projects that everyone can do, that you can either follow completely or add your own personal touches. All materials are provided (and often a few extra!), the only things you need to bring are an apron, your journal(s) to work in and a few basics that Claire will advise on (as each workshop is different). There is a steady stream of hot or cold drinks too! Lunch is not provided if you are at Claire's home but is included if you are at one of the other venues that she uses (depending on numbers). All in all, I can't recommend highly enough and I will be booking on again as soon as this years dates are released!
